Telling Your Story

Telling our stories, telling your story, in a meaningful way can change the world.

Funneling an entire life into a few minutes can be an overwhelming task. Such an undertaking can cause devastating procrastination. When my father in law asked me to tell his story he was already ill. When he died before we could record the stories it broke my heart. In a way, the grief lead me to share our story and ultimately inspired my desire to help in telling your story.

Documenting Legacy

I’ve been reflecting on almost 18 months of blog posts and it has made me excited to take this idea to the next level. To dig into the powerful idea of story and how together we can use our legacies to make a difference.

To work on our next evolution, Documenting Legacy is taking a summer hiatus on blog posting.

I will continue to reflect on what I’ve been sharing and more excitingly work on a few projects I can’t wait to share with you. Don’t worry, we are still here if you need us, we just won’t be showing up on the blog every two weeks.

It’s important to me to share information that is inspiring and useful and ultimately helps you keep procrastination as bay. My single desire is that you never experience the heartbreak I felt after my father in law passed without having recorded his stories.

Telling Your Story

Telling your story, or telling the story of a loved one is a powerful way to leave a legacy for family, friends and future generations. It’s a way to connect, share knowledge and honestly it’s a way to dig in and learn a little bit more about ourselves. To really ask ourselves, why we do the things we do and why they are so important to us.

As always, we are here to help! Whose story would you like to tell?

Blueskies,
Tami
