If you’ve been thinking about telling your story or that of a loved one, but haven’t found the time, or didn’t know where to start!
This is for you!
Legacy stories are deeply personal. At their core they explore personal values and how those values are expressed in who we are and why we do the things we do. Our stories are the memories that make up our lives and live in the past, present and future and I believe it’s an act of love to have the conversations, capture the stories and share them.
I’ve connected with so many people, because like me, we didn’t capture the stories of our loved ones in time. Not knowing where to start or what to say has led to a lot of procrastination and overwhelm.
52 Weeks of Guided Legacy Stories will ask questions and offer prompts to help bring back the memories. I’ll share frameworks for storytelling and be here every step of the way offering motivation to help get you started and keep you going.
I suggest having a journal, or an online document that you can use to collect your thoughts, ideas and stories. If you’re into posting on social media, or blogging I’d love to see your stories. Remember stories can be made up of images, videos, audio… and lots of different mediums. It doesn’t necessarily need to be writing.
The prompts arrive via the Wild Spruce Newsletter. Please sign up here:
And it is never too late to start. The promps are a collective. A weekly practice of pondering, writing and if you wish sharing.
I’ll be following along with you and would love to meet and hear your stories. Once a month I’ll be hosting a zoom group chat session to answer any questions you might have about legacy storytelling.
I’m so excited for us to get started, together!
